Who am I?
Reconnecting to Essence
With Paul and Aja
Retreat description
There’s a common misconception in the West which is very easy to fall prey to - the more things we have (time, friends, holidays, money), the happier we’ll be. But more of any of those things won’t help us if we don’t know how to appreciate them in the first place. Through a combination of Yoga and meditation techniques, Vedic philosophy and Ayurveda, this retreat is all about simplifying our lives so that we are able to experience connecting to the essence of everything we do, which then leads to a fuller life. Then every interaction, every seemingly mundane task, every moment of our lives can take us and those around us towards fulfilment, joy and transformation.
This retreat will take place at Watamu Treehouse in Kenya.

Watamu Treehouse
Meet your teacher for this retreat.
Paul and Aja have been leading retreats together for over 10 years, and have explored Kenya and the Watamu coast much before that. They are the creators of Treehouse.
Aja is a vinyasa, yin and Dru yoga teacher, and an Ayurvedic practitioner. Ayurveda utilises the pathways of yoga, food, lifestyle changes, herbs and therapies to bring a state of balance to body and mind, and to help an individual tune in to their natural rhythms.
Paul is a Dru yoga and meditation teacher, passionate about sharing ancient wisdom from scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita and making it practical for modern day living. He also teaches vision board sessions.
Through the creation and busy running of Treehouse, they have come to fully appreciate how crucial it is to have some form of daily practice; how important it is to slow down enough each day by tuning in to, and connecting with, the more subtle energies of life. Developing a connection to something deeper than the physical is what makes this life so magical. Asking the questions like ‘who am i? why am i here? what’s my purpose?’ are lifelong pursuits that add another dimension to the life of a human being on this planet…
