Book an Abundant Plant-Based Meal at Treehouse

We offer delicious, fresh and healthy meals even if you are not staying with us.

Breakfast 2500 per person and Dinner are 3500 per person - including VAT and all taxes. Children under 12yrs pay 50%, teens under 18yrs pay 75%.

Meals need to be booked and paid for in advance - preferably the day before. Meals are served in our Mbamba Kofi forest dining room.

Please note: we do not serve sodas or alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Also, we do not make special food that’s classically ‘child friendly’ like pasta and chips. Children coming to dine get the same menu as everyone else.

Booking process:

  • Please fill out the inquiry form

  • Tell us the date you’d like to come and how many people. Filling in the form is a booking request, not a confirmation.

  • Please also let us know of any allergies! We do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs, e.g. vegan, gluten free, specific allergies/preferences

  • Booking is not confirmed until we receive the payment. We take mpesa (PAYBILL) or you can pay online with a card (note, there’s a 3% charge for card payments). You can also come by Treehouse and pay cash if you’re in Watamu.

  • NOTE: Treehouse does not sell alcohol. But you’re welcome to bring your own.

The way we eat

Our food is inspired by a variety of cuisines from Swahili to Indian to Middle Eastern. 

Regardless of the flavour inspiration, we always retain our principles of vibrancy and freshness ensuring that the food is bursting with life force. We source fresh fruits and vegetables from the local market and try to get everything else from coastal producers or the health food shop. Our lunches and dinners are abundant “set-meals” and always include a soup or starter, a vegetarian main course (and a seafood main course if not vegetarian), a variety of sides and salads, and a dessert. We serve fresh juice or coconut water and a variety of hot drinks after the meal.  Great for vegans, and gluten and dairy-free, we take all dietary restrictions into account if you tell us in advance.
